The serviceman who died from a gunshot wound two days ago was a graduate of the Urartu Football Academy
Vahan Khachatur Petrosyan, a serviceman of the military No. N unit of the Ministry of Defense who died from a gunshot wound on January 14, was a graduate of FC Urartu’s academy.
The academy issued a statement in connection with his death:
“It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Vahan Petrosyan, a graduate of Urartu academy, has passed away.
Vahan began his football journey at the age of six in Urartu Academy’s youth teams and later played for Urartu-2.
We express our condolences to his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, Vahan. You will forever remain a part of Urartu,” the academy’s statement said.
