Papoyan presented the discussed list of goods to be exported from Armenia to Azerbaijan: Factor
Yerevan and Baku are negotiating the possibilities of exporting from Armenia to Azerbaijan
aluminum foil, raw materials for aluminum foil, ferromolybdenum, pets, brandy raw
materials, tobacco, and textile products. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of the
Republic of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan, in an interview with Factor.am.
“There are also Azerbaijani companies that have expressed interest in importing specific
products. The Azerbaijani side presented a list of particular goods they are interested in,
and we have sent the quantities we can export. Our list also includes roses and
greenhouse products: tomatoes and peppers. We have proposed an approximate price,”
Gevorg Papoyan said.
The Minister of Economy has not yet specified dates for the first exports. According to him,
this will take place once Armenian and Azerbaijani companies reach an agreement.
