We are interested in further developing and deepening our relations with Russia – Pashinyan at meeting with Putin
Armenia is interested in further developing and deepening its relations with Russia.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek on September 1.
“We are interested in further developing and deepening our relations with Russia. But it should also be noted that in recent years the situation in our region, around Armenia, has changed, and it seems to us that the situation should be viewed from this perspective, because in a conflict situation relations between Armenia and Russia had a different meaning, whereas now, when peace has been established in the region, it seems to us that the situation should be looked at with a fresh perspective.
“I believe this will contribute to the development of our relations. We mean the deepening and development of our relations. And this is very important.”
