"For many centuries, Russia and Armenia have been neighboring, fraternal countries. From this point of view, we are closely intertwined, and many Armenians live in our country, and Russians—in Armenia. We are united also by a very good integration process. We are convinced that this integration process, namely the EAEU [i.e. the Eurasian Economic Union], provides a significant percentage of Armenia's GDP growth annually," Peskov noted.
He added that Moscow is interested in further cooperation with Yerevan and will continue it.
"We have a lot in common. As Russia, we are a serious investor in Armenia. So, there is a lot to do, and relations will continue to develop," the Kremlin spokesperson noted.
