Iran's permanent representative at the United Nations, Amir Said Iravani, sent a corresponding letter to the Secretary General of the organization, Antonio Guterres, and the President of the Security Council, Abukar Dahir Osman.
"Iran calls on the Security Council to demand that the United States and the Israeli regime immediately end their destabilizing policies and practices and fully comply with their obligations under international law," the document said.
It also said that Tehran called on the UN Security Council to condemn the incitement of violence and threats of force by the United States.
