On January 16, Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan visited the women’s battalion of the Ministry of Defense’s Military Unit No. N.
During the visit, accompanied by representatives of the Human Rights Defender’s Office and by the unit’s Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander, Armine Grigoryan, Anahit Manasyan toured the unit’s premises, reviewed the social and living conditions, the specifics of service organization, and familiarized herself with the current state of ensuring the rights of female servicemen.
From the perspective of protecting the rights of female servicemen and ensuring service under dignified and proper conditions, the Defender positively assessed the significant improvement in the facility’s infrastructure.
