Trump has pledged support for the technocratic Palestinian Authority in Gaza

 

US President Donald Trump has announced his support for the creation of a technocratic transitional Palestinian Authority to govern the Gaza Strip. He published this message on Truth Social on January 15.

Trump has approved the second phase of the Gaza peace plan. According to the American leader, "as chairman of the Peace Council, he supported the technocratic Palestinian Authority, the Gaza National Management Committee."
 
With the support of Egypt, Turkey and Qatar, we will reach a comprehensive demilitarization agreement with the radical Palestinian movement, Hamas, which will include complete disarmament and the destruction of all tunnels."
 
"Hamas must immediately fulfill its obligations, including. As I said earlier, they can do it the easy way or the hard way," Trump said.
 
He previously announced that a "Peace Council" had been established to govern the Gaza Strip, explaining that the composition of the governing body "will be announced soon."
