Influenza A (H3N2) viruses continue to circulate in Armenia: NCDC
During the second week of 2026, a low level of activity of illness caused by acute respiratory infections was recorded in Armenia, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) reports.
“Nearly 68% of all cases are among those aged 0–18, with the highest rate continuing to be recorded in the 0–4 age group.
During the same period, hospitalizations for acute respiratory viral infections in medical institutions decreased by 1.3 times compared to the previous week.
Of the hospitalized cases 92.8% are 0–18 years old.
