Dangerous Games Ahead of the Elections
A few days ago, false information about border shootings was published; today another piece of disinformation was published.
The Ministry of Defense only denies it. This is a real gift to the forces waging a hybrid war against Armenia. What a convenient situation it is: one can invent, spread anything and that’s it. They will simply deny it but the key point is that panic is successfully sown, the topic is discussed, and no one is held accountable.
It is interesting: if tomorrow someone writes that, according to their information, Yerevan’s drinking-water reservoir is said to have been poisoned, will they once again do nothing more than deny it?
In this manner, we cannot build a serious state. Most striking is the fact that the person disseminating false information even goes so far as to mock the Ministry of Defense, noting, “Did you see how late they denied it?”
There were media outlets that took this information and spread it. Certain Facebook users rushed to write that they do not believe the Ministry of Defense’s denial.
This way, we are going nowhere. This dangerous game must be put to an end as soon as possible; otherwise, the situation in this regard will later become unmanageable.
