ICRC representatives met with all confirmed Armenian detainees held in Azerbaijan on December 24 and 25
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) met on December 24 and 25 with all confirmed Armenian individuals held in Azerbaijan, Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs of the ICRC delegation in Armenia, told the media.
Amatuni noted that, as before, the visit focused on the individuals’ health, the treatment they receive and an assessment of their detention conditions.
No parcels were handed over by families. Within the framework of the visit, ICRC representatives held private interviews with each person. The visit was organized by the ICRC headquarters in Geneva.
