Rosselkhoznadzor announced that Armenia should stop certifying fish for Russia

Armenia must suspend veterinary certification of live fish and fish products being exported to Russia for all local companies, starting from June 2. The only exceptions are two enterprises that have successfully passed the inspections, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) noted in a statement.
 
Accordingly, inspections were carried out at Armenia’s fish processing companies and trout farms from May 21-27. It is noteworthy that half of these enterprises refused to undergo inspections.
 
Based on the results of the inspections, until the current situation is resolved, the Armenian side must suspend veterinary certification of live fish and fish products for Russian recipients, starting from Tuesday, for all Armenian companies, except for the two enterprises that have passed the inspections.
 
The Rosselkhoznadzor statement notes that the fish products from these two companies that have received permission will be imported into Russia but subject to laboratory monitoring of safety indicators.
