The visit comes at the invitation of France’s Minister for Ecological Transition and International Negotiations on Biodiversity, Climate, and Nature, Monique Barbut.

Within the framework of the visit, participants will also address issues related to desertification, land degradation, water and marine resource management, as well as efforts to combat illegal fishing.
