The third phase of the startup support program by global innovation platform Plug and Play has officially launched in Yerevan, with the backing of Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
The launch event brought together Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, National Assembly Vice Speaker Hakob Arshakyan, Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan, as well as representatives of the technology sector, international mentors, and key players in the startup ecosystem.
Welcoming participants, Minister Hayrapetyan congratulated the organizers on the program’s launch and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in advancing Armenia’s technology ecosystem. He highlighted their role in fostering innovation, strengthening global ties, and enhancing the competitiveness of Armenian startups.
As part of the program, 18 selected startups will take part in a three-month pre-acceleration phase aimed at refining their ideas and preparing them for entry into international markets. Participants will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced international mentors, gain practical knowledge, build networks, and join Plug and Play’s global innovation platform.
The startups selected for the current batch include Bleenk, FIGURINGS, Empy.ai, Tedly, abda AI, Inc., SafeGround Technologies, Salute AI, LexAI, Uray Technologies, Ethery Tech, JAN DIGITRUST, RUXEN, Megaladata, AgenticFi, BeeSync, Dhomie, Muvia Inc., and BeautyFlo B.V.
Since the launch of cooperation between Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Plug and Play in 2024, two successful phases of the program have already been completed, supporting around 40 startups. The initiative aims to further develop Armenia’s startup ecosystem, expand international collaboration, and continuously boost the global competitiveness of local teams.
