Armenia denies reports of first-ever exports to Azerbaijan
Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) has denied media reports suggesting that Armenian goods were exported to Azerbaijan for the first time, stating that no such shipments have been officially recorded.
The clarification came after several Azerbaijani outlets reported that Azerbaijan had imported goods from Armenia valued at approximately $960. The same reports also claimed that, during the first quarter of 2026, Azerbaijan exported goods to Armenia worth $5.76 million, including $1.54 million in March alone.
In response, the SRC told Armenian media that there is no evidence in official records to support claims of exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan.
