Armenia, ADB review joint programs, development priorities
Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Leah Gutierrez, Regional Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to discuss ongoing cooperation and key development priorities.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed joint programs being implemented with ADB. Grigoryan highlighted the importance of the bank’s continued engagement in projects of strategic significance for Armenia, emphasizing its role in supporting the country’s economic development.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation with the private sector. The interlocutors underscored the importance of expanding ADB’s involvement in initiatives that promote private sector growth and investment.
The discussion also touched upon reforms aimed at developing human capital, as well as the challenges faced in this area. The sides exchanged views on regional developments and the potential opportunities arising from the implementation of the Crossroads of Peace initiative.
