Vladimir Vardanyan elected judge of Armenia’s Constitutional Court
Vladimir Vardanyan has been elected as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Armenia following a closed ballot in the National Assembly.
According to the results of the vote, 67 members of parliament supported his candidacy, while none voted against.
Vardanyan’s nomination for the vacant position on the Constitutional Court was discussed during a session of the National Assembly on March 24, 2026.
Prior to his election, Vardanyan served as a member of parliament from the ruling “Civil Contract” faction. He also chaired the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
