Armenia denies reports of gunfire and explosions on its territory
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has denied circulating reports claiming that gunfire and explosions were recorded on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Minister, Aram Torosyan, said that no such incidents have occurred.
“There have been no gunshots or explosions recorded on the territory of the Republic of Armenia,” Torosyan wrote.
He added that certain actors are circulating articles with manipulative headlines aimed at creating unnecessary tension among the public.
