Armenian, Georgian FMs emphasize cooperation between the two countries’ Embassies in the Middle East
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili on March 4 in the Georgian city of Sighnaghi, where the two discussed a range of issues related to bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the ministers reviewed items on the Armenia–Georgia partnership agenda. They underscored that the preparation and successful holding of the upcoming session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries reflects the dynamic nature of bilateral engagement.
Mirzoyan and Bochorishvili also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East. The ministers stressed the importance of efforts aimed at reducing tensions and addressing issues through peaceful means, highlighting the benefits of stability and peace.
The Armenian and Georgian foreign ministers also emphasized cooperation between the two countries’ resident embassies in the Middle East in providing possible assistance to their citizens on the ground.
During the meeting, the sides further discussed prospects for regional cooperation as well as opportunities for collaboration within multilateral formats.
