I Am Proud to Be the First U.S. Vice President to Visit Armenia: J.D. Vance
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance described his visit to Armenia as historic. According to
Armenpress, Vance made the remarks during a press conference following his private
meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“What is happening here today is of historical significance. I am truly proud to be the first
Vice President of the United States ever to visit this country. I look forward to tomorrow,
which I will spend in your country,” Vance said.
The U.S. Vice President thanked the Armenian Prime Minister for the cooperation, noting
that he and U.S. President Donald Trump are committed to strengthening that cooperation.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance arrived in Armenia on an official visit on February 9. He
traveled to Armenia with his wife and children. As part of the visit, a private meeting took
place between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Vice President J.D. Vance.
