In November, the average air quality index values were in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range.
During the December 8 operational meeting of the Yerevan Municipality, data from measuring devices on air quality for November 2025 were presented.
According to the data from 184 air-monitoring stations installed at construction sites in Yerevan, in November 2025 the average air quality index value for PM2.5 was 142, and for PM10 it was 64. These values fall within the “moderate” or “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range.
For the same period in 2024, PM2.5 was 101 and PM10 was 53.
From November 20 to 30, 2025, the average AQI (air quality index) value for PM2.5 was 180; this was the period when a sharp deterioration in air quality was observed.
It was also reported that analysis of the data from the stations at the end of last week shows that the sensor readings are relatively decreasing.
