And the respective parliamentary seats will be distributed as follows:

Civil Contract party - 61 seats

Strong Armenia bloc - 28 seats

“Armenia” bloc - 11 seats

Prosperous Armenia Party - 5 seats.

At the last moment, the Prosperous Armenia Party managed to reach the 4 percent threshold, which enabled this political force to enter parliament.

Also, three of the four parliamentary seats of Armenia’s four largest national minorities will go to the Civil Contract party, and one to the Strong Armenia bloc.

The Armenian National Assembly is elected under the proportional representation system; that is, only by party lists.

Sixteen parties and two blocs on Sunday were vying for seats in the 9th convocation of the parliament of Armenia.

The threshold for passing into the Armenian legislature is 4% for parties, and 8% for blocs.
