Armenian FM, EU Commissioner discuss deepening economic cooperation and regional connectivity
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, during which the two officials discussed the ongoing development of Armenia-EU relations and prospects for further cooperation.
Mirzoyan and Kos commended the positive momentum in the Armenia-EU partnership, highlighting the steady progress achieved across various areas of cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed measures aimed at strengthening the economic dimension of Armenia-EU relations, including mechanisms to increase trade turnover and expand economic ties.
They also exchanged views on initiatives designed to enhance regional connectivity, emphasizing the importance of developing infrastructure and cooperation frameworks that promote closer links within the region.
In addition, the conversation touched upon continued collaboration in strengthening democratic resilience, which remains an integral part of the Armenia-EU strategic agenda.
The discussion reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to further advancing cooperation and deepening the Armenia-EU partnership across key areas of mutual interest.
