Henrikh Mkhitaryan set to stay at Inter for 2026–27 season
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly decided to extend his stay with Inter Milan for the 2026–27 season, turning down the option of retirement for at least another year, according to reports in Italy.
The 37-year-old midfielder, whose current contract expires on 30 June, had been given full autonomy by Inter to decide whether to end his playing career or continue for another campaign following the conclusion of the 2025–26 season.
The extension will allow Inter to maintain continuity in their midfield structure while easing the transition as the club gradually reshapes its squad for the future.
