Armenian Defense Ministry prohibits filming of military equipment before Republic Day parade
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has urged citizens and media representatives to refrain from photographing or filming the movement of military equipment in Yerevan ahead of the military parade scheduled for May 28.
In a statement addressed to the public and media organizations, the Ministry said that photographing and video recording of military equipment being transported through the streets of the Armenian capital is strictly prohibited until the parade takes place.
The Ministry noted that opportunities to film and photograph the military equipment will be provided on May 28 in accordance with established procedures.
Authorities also stressed that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or drones, for filming purposes is strictly forbidden.
The Ministry warned that violations of these restrictions will result in legal liability.
The military parade is set to take place on May 28, when Armenia marks Republic Day.
