Issues related to the Armenia-Iran bilateral economic agenda were discussed
Armenian Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Hamid Ghambari. During the meeting, issues related to the Armenia-Iran bilateral economic agenda were discussed. The parties touched upon the current joint programs and emphasized the importance of their effective and timely implementation.
The interlocutors exchanged views on projects being implemented in infrastructure, energy, and the modernization of border checkpoints. Ambassador Hakobyan welcomed the progress of construction on the Qajaran-Agarak section of the North-South Communication Road, implemented with the participation of Iranian companies, and emphasized the importance of completing the project within the specified deadlines.
Deputy Minister Ghambari reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to deepen Armenia-Iran trade and economic cooperation and activate the activities of joint working groups formed in various fields.
