New technology center to rise in Armenia’s Engineering City, creating hundreds of jobs
A groundbreaking ceremony for a new technology center of Integral Solutions took place at Armenia’s Engineering City, according to Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan. During the ceremony, a symbolic capsule was placed in the foundation of the future building with the participation of Integral Solutions co-founders Armen Baldryan and Eduard Musayelyan, marking the launch of a project expected to further strengthen Armenia’s growing technology sector.
The new technology center is projected to create between 300 and 400 jobs, contributing to the attraction of highly qualified professionals, the development of local expertise, and the expansion of Armenia’s technological ecosystem.
A key feature of the center will be the installation of a high-performance emulator supercomputer acquired by Integral Solutions from Siemens. The system is expected to play a significant role in advancing Armenia’s semiconductor industry.
The emulator will allow Armenian companies to carry out testing and validation of newly designed chips locally before moving to production. Until now, domestic firms had to conduct these processes abroad, resulting in considerable financial costs and delays.
Officials believe the new infrastructure marks an important step in Armenia’s technological evolution, positioning the country not only as a developer of software solutions but also as a regional hub for hardware technologies and chip design.
The project is expected to enhance Armenia’s technological competitiveness while accelerating progress in artificial intelligence and other high-tech sectors.
