Armenia-Iran Bilateral Agenda Issues Discussed
Armenian Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the
Islamic Republic of Iran for Political Affairs, Majid Takht Ravanchi, the Armenian Embassy
reported. The interlocutors discussed issues on the Armenia-Iran bilateral agenda and
touched upon the situation surrounding Iran as well as regional developments.
Ambassador Hakobyan emphasized the importance of bilateral relations with friendly Iran
for the Republic of Armenia, expressing hope that the current situation in the region can be
resolved through diplomacy and peaceful negotiations.
The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister presented the latest developments concerning the
Islamic Republic of Iran and also expressed gratitude for the humanitarian assistance
provided by the Armenian government during the period of military operations.
