It is no secret that Armenia and EU are growing closer day by day; number one prerequisite for this is European aspirations of Armenian people: Mirzoyan
As before, I am confident that the EU will continue tomorrow as well to support Armenia’s democracy and the process of integration with the European Union in various fields, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, responding to a question about what the Armenia-EU summit brought to Armenia and how understandable Armenia’s approaches became for the international community of the EU.
“I should say that even before, we had always presented Armenia’s approaches quite dynamically. On various issues, we presented Armenia’s positions to our EU partners, both within the EU institutions and among member state partners, and the summit was no exception in this regard.
It is no secret that Armenia and the EU are growing closer and closer day by day, and all opportunities exist for this. The number one prerequisite for this is the European aspirations of the Armenian people, which were expressed, for example, through last year’s civic initiative that eventually turned into a law adopted by the National Assembly,” he said.
