Gurgen Arsenyan summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry
The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that on May 7, the Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation, Gurgen Arsenyan, was invited to the ministry and met with Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
According to the Russian side, the ambassador was conveyed Moscow's discontent with the fact that Volodymyr Zelensky was allowed to make "terrorist threats" against Russia during the events held in Armenia with the support of the EU, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The report notes that Moscow is "outraged" by what happened and believes that official Yerevan did not respond adequately to Zelensky's statements, which, according to the Russian side, does not correspond to the partnership nature of Armenian-Russian relations.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Gurgen Arsenyan stated that he would convey the Russian position to Yerevan.
