Armenian FM, Belgian Parliament Speaker exchange views on regional developments
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Peter De Roover on the sidelines of the Yerevan Dialogue international conference.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of bilateral partnership between Armenia and Belgium, highlighting the important role of interparliamentary ties and the progressive agenda established between the two countries’ legislatures.
The interlocutors commended the achievements recorded in Armenia-European Union relations and discussed prospects for Armenia’s European integration.
The parties also exchanged views on regional issues. Minister Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s ongoing efforts aimed at the institutionalization of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Humanitarian issues were also addressed during the meeting.
