Belarusian Foreign Ministry Sends Protest Note to Armenia
On May 5, Artur Sargsyan, the Chargé d'Affaires of Armenia to Belarus, was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The Armenian diplomat was issued a strong protest and handed a corresponding note
regarding the recent unfriendly actions of the Armenian side.
It should be noted that although the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s statement does not
specify the reason, the protest note is most likely related to the visit to Armenia by
Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tsikhonovskaya.
