Armenia-EU relations stronger than Ever – Armen Grigoryan
At the third international conference “Yerevan Dialogue” held on May 6, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan participated in a panel discussion titled “Europe Between New Forms of Power and Dominance: A Geopolitical Actor in a Fragmenting World.” During the discussion, Grigoryan stated that Armenia-European Union relations are stronger today than ever before. He noted that Armenia has adopted a balanced and balancing foreign policy, in which diversification plays a key role.
The Security Council Secretary also addressed the peace established in the South Caucasus, emphasizing that the region has transformed from a zone of conflict into a region of stability and peace. According to Grigoryan, the primary beneficiaries of peace are the countries of the region themselves.
In this context, he stressed that it is the establishment of peace that has increased the international community’s attention toward the South Caucasus.
