Latvian president to pay official visit to Armenia on May 7

President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs will arrive in Armenia on an official visit on May 7, Foreign Minister Baiba Braže has said. “And tomorrow our president is coming on an official visit, something that we greatly celebrate and that also directly connects our leaders, politicians, people, and economies,” the Latvian Foreign Minister said at a panel discussion during the Yerevan Dialogue 2026 forum.

Braže noted that direct flights between Armenia and Latvia will be relaunched in June.

She underscored the close, respect-based relationship between the two countries.
