Armenian players among leaders of Sardinia World Chess Festival
Armenian chess players GM Haik Martirosyan and GM Emin Ohanyan are among the leaders at the Sardinia World Chess Festival 2026, taking place in Italy.
With 3.5 points out of 4, Haik and Emin are currently tied for 1st-14th place, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Wednesday.
GM Mamikon Gharibyan and FM Sargis Manukyan are also participating in the tournament, each with 2.5 points.
