Yerevan Dialogue international forum will be held in Yerevan on May 5
The Yerevan Dialogue international forum will also take place in Yerevan on May 5, with its agenda covering a number of key global and regional topics, ranging from artificial intelligence and democratic resilience to energy security and the economic prospects of the South Caucasus. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of France Emmanuel Macron are also expected to deliver speeches during the forum.
Panel discussions within the framework of the forum will address issues of peace and security in the South Caucasus, as well as the region’s role in global economic and logistical processes.
Discussions will also focus on Armenia’s potential to act as a bridge between Europe and Central Asia. Separate panels will examine the economic and investment potential of the South Caucasus, including key raw materials, semiconductors, and Armenia’s opportunities in the technology sector.
A dedicated panel will address democratic resilience, hybrid threats, and the impact of artificial intelligence on electoral processes, including how new technologies influence the information environment, public trust, and voter behavior.
The agenda also includes issues related to strategic autonomy in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as discussions on countries’ strategic choices in a multipolar world order. Topics such as AI regulation, technological sovereignty, energy security, and financing the transition to green energy will also be covered.
New approaches to regional security and the role of regional cooperation amid transformations in the international system are also included in the forum’s agenda.
Experts and representatives of international organizations will participate in the Yerevan Dialogue international forum to discuss global challenges and prospects for regional cooperation.
