The President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron will visit the Republic of Armenia on May 3-5
The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, will visit the Republic of Armenia on May 3-5. As part of the visit, the President of France will first participate in the European Political Community Summit to be held in Yerevan. Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to the Republic of Armenia will begin on May 5.
A private meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of France will take place, followed by an expanded meeting of the leaders of the two countries. After the document signing ceremony, Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron will make statements to the media.
President Macron will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, as well as will visit the Matenadaran.
A meeting between the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, will also take place.
As part of the state visit, the President of France, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, will visit Gyumri, where he will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the 1988 earthquake.
Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron will attend the concert titled “Musical Bridge: Armenia-France” in Gyumri.
