Armenian, Georgian Parliament Speakers discuss regional developments
Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan held a meeting with Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili on the sidelines of the plenary session of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
During the meeting, the two officials discussed a wide range of issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration between the legislative bodies of Armenia and Georgia.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional developments, as well as other topics of mutual interest, underlining the significance of stability and constructive engagement in the South Caucasus.
