U.S. Assistant Secretary of State visits Armenian Embassy
Armenian Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, hosted Riley Barnes, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, at the Armenian Embassy. During the meeting, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of U.S. support for strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring the continuity of this assistance.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the TRIPP initiative, as well as on hybrid threats, countering disinformation, and a number of issues related to religious freedom. The interlocutors reaffirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
