“Dear respected representatives of the Yazidi community of the Republic of Armenia,
I warmly congratulate you all on the New Year on the occasion of the Malake Taus holiday.
The Yazidi community enjoys great respect and affection in the Republic of Armenia. The Yazidis of Armenia are known for their national identity, hard work, traditions, and dedication to the Republic of Armenia, and they are an important part of our state identity, being one of the largest ethnic groups living in the Republic of Armenia.
The aim of our Government is for the achievements of the Yazidis of Armenia to continue to grow. We are also making large-scale investments in Yazidi-populated settlements, aiming to ensure that education is accessible and of high quality throughout the Republic of Armenia, that infrastructure is at an appropriate level, and that community and cultural life develop and prosperity increases.
Today, sharing in your joy, we also note that we are ready to share fraternally in the concerns of the Yazidi community of Armenia and support the resolution of your issues, implementing new programs aimed at preserving and developing the language, culture, and national identity of the Yazidi community.
Dear respected representatives of the Yazidi community of the Republic of Armenia,
May the coming year be a year of peace and prosperity for the Yazidi community of Armenia, as well as for all citizens of our country a year of success, happiness, and abundance. I love you all. Happy Malake Taus,” the Armenian PM said in the address.
