Armenian, Kazakh Transport Ministers discuss direct air links, Crossroads of Peace initiative
Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan received Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Welcoming his counterpart, Khudatyan emphasized the importance of deepening ties between Armenia and Kazakhstan, highlighting the potential for expanded collaboration in key sectors.
The talks focused on a range of issues of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of aviation and transport. The sides underlined the importance of establishing direct air connections between the two countries as a step toward boosting economic and people-to-people links.
The ministers also discussed Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, with particular attention to railway infrastructure and its role in enhancing regional connectivity.
