Sargis Khandanyan meets with parliamentarians of Austria
On April 8, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations met with the delegation led by the Head of the Austria-Armenia Friendship Group of the Parliament of the Republic of Austria Martina von Künsberg Sarre.
Welcoming the guests, Sargis Khandanyan valued the Armenia-Austria cooperation and inter-parliamentary relations.
At the guests’ request, the Committee Chair touched upon the regional developments, spoke about the regulation process of the relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The deputies of the Austria-Armenia Friendship Group welcomed the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and underscored their readiness to support that process. Issues regarding the deepening of Armenia-European Union collaboration were discussed.
The guests were interested in the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. Reference was made to the parliamentary elections to be held in Armenia in the near future.
