Armenian delegation to UN welcomed adoption of UN General Assembly resolution on creation, implementation and review of mandates
At the UNGA Informal meeting on the UN80 Initiative the delegation of Armenia welcomed the adoption of the Resolution on Mandate Creation, Implementation and Review and reiterated its consistent position in support of efforts aimed at eliminating duplication and enhancing the operational activities of the organization.
Strengthening technological capacities of developing countries in line with national priorities and circumstances has been highlighted.
In the context of possible merger of UNFPA and UN Women, importance of preserving mandates has been prioritized.
