Moscow does not hinder Yerevan’s partnership with the United States and the European Union, Overchuk
The principle of consensus is fundamental in the Eurasian Economic Union, and no decision will be made there against Armenia’s interests, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk has said.
“Armenia’s vote is equal to that of Russia and all other member states of the union, regardless of the size of their economies or countries. Within the EAEU, no decision will be adopted if it does not correspond to Armenia’s interests,” the Russian official stated. He emphasized that Russia does not hinder Armenia in finding new partners and expanding its external markets, including cooperation with the United States and the European Union.
