The Armenian Opera Theater is a member of the prestigious international organization Opera Europa
The A. Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater has become a member of the prestigious international organization Opera Europa. Opera Europa is one of the largest professional networks of European opera theaters and festivals, uniting leading institutions in the field, shaping the development agenda of opera art in Europe and beyond.
“We are delighted to announce the joining of a new member to our network, the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Armenia. Opera Europa welcomes a country with a millennia-old history, rich culture, and deep musical traditions. This magnificent theater, proudly standing in the heart of Yerevan, is at a new, vibrant stage of development, advancing its mission of artistic excellence. Armenian culture proudly resonates worldwide, thanks to Tigranyan's moving melodies and Khachaturian's ballets.
We look forward to the results of the new cooperation,” the organization’s official statement reads.
Membership in Opera Europa opens new opportunities to expand international cooperation, exchange experiences, and make Armenian opera art more visible on global platforms.
