The White House hopes to reach an agreement with Tehran by April 6

 

The United States expects to sign an agreement with Iran by April 6, White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said during a press conference. She was asked to comment on the publication of US President Donald Trump, who previously wrote on Truth Social, that the United States is suspending attacks on Iran's energy infrastructure for 10 days, until April 6.

Asked what the US hopes to achieve during that period, Leavitt explained that Trump "wants a deal." "Time is running out, there are only a few days left. We will see what will happen after that 10-day period," said the press secretary of the White House.
 
The US president has previously announced that the US will destroy all of Iran's power plants, oil wells and Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf if Tehran disrupts peace talks with Washington.
 
The president also announced that the United States was negotiating with "new, more reasonable" Iranian authorities to end the armed conflict. He added that there had been "significant progress" in these discussions.
