Pashinyan attends plaque unveiling ceremony of Tchekidjian National Academic Choir after recent renaming
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the inauguration ceremony of the Hovhannes Tchekidjian Armenian National Academic Choir on Monday. Pashinyan, together with other officials, took part in the plaque unveiling ceremony.
In December 2025, the Armenian government approved renaming the Armenian National Academic Choir after its artistic director and principal conductor, the renowned composer Hovhannes Tchekidjian. It is henceforth known as the Hovhannes Tchekidjian Armenian National Academic Choir.
