Pashinyan congratulates Mitsotakis on Independence Day, highlights growing ties
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of Greece’s national holiday, Independence Day.
In his message, Pashinyan extended warm congratulations and best wishes, emphasizing that Armenia highly values its friendly relations with Greece, which are grounded in mutual trust, shared values, and longstanding civilizational ties between the two peoples.
The Armenian Prime Minister noted with satisfaction that cooperation between Armenia and Greece has recently gained momentum, marked by constructive dialogue, high-level visits, and regular contacts. According to him, these developments have contributed to expanding collaboration across a wide range of sectors, including politics, economy, defense, science, education, and culture.
Pashinyan expressed confidence that joint efforts would further deepen the bilateral partnership, as well as cooperation in multilateral formats and within the framework of Armenia–European Union relations, for the benefit of both countries and for strengthening regional peace and stability.
He also voiced his expectation to host Mitsotakis in Yerevan during the upcoming European Political Community Summit, noting that the visit could provide an opportunity to elevate Armenia–Greece relations to a new, strategic level.
The Armenian Prime Minister concluded his message by wishing Mitsotakis success and extending wishes of peace, prosperity, and sustainable progress to the people of Greece.
