Armenia and Pakistan to accredit ambassadors, non-resident at this stage, Mirzoyan
Diplomatic relations were established last year with three countries-Lesotho, Solomon Islands, and Pakistan, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a session of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.
“In the case of Pakistan, as you know, there had been an issue for many years. It was a complex knot linked to Armenia-Azerbaijan and Armenia-Turkey relations.
Last year, we managed to reach an understanding and establish relations. The Pakistani side also attached significant importance to this development, and we established diplomatic ties. Now we are in contact and will accredit ambassadors-at this stage, non-resident. We are in the process,” he said.
