Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the President of the Oman Investment Authority
On March 18, in Muscat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the dynamically developing political dialogue between Armenia and Oman, as well as their readiness to advance cooperation across various fields, which is expected to contribute to fostering a favorable environment for the promotion of investments.
In this context, the importance of establishing direct links between the institutions responsible for investment promotion in the two countries was emphasized, including Armenia’s “Enterprise Armenia”, chambers of commerce, and business communities. The role of the resident Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Muscat in identifying concrete opportunities was also highlighted.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the reforms being implemented by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, aimed at the continuous improvement of the investment climate, the promotion of entrepreneurship, and the creation of favorable conditions for attracting foreign investments.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi also exchanged views on enhancing people-to-people contacts, establishing direct flights between the capitals of Armenia and Oman, and expanding cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism.
