The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia met with the Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Belgium
On March 12, within the framework of his working visit to Brussels the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Belgium Theo Francken.
The ministers discussed issues related to Armenia-Belgium cooperation in the defence sector.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the great potential for the development of cooperation in military education, professional training, military medicine, peacekeeping, humanitarian demining and other areas, reaching an agreement to continue work on expanding cooperation.
The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues related to international security.
